Riding the 2022 wave.
As the year winds down, many wonder about 2021. We spent time in lockdown or behind masks in a routine that blurred days, weeks, and months. Most of us are awaiting the year-end hoping that the next year will bring new beginnings. We make new year resolutions, reflect, and set goals with the intention that this year will be different.
The date transition from Dec 31st to Jan 1st is just a symbolic shift. After all, does the flip of the calendar year determine if it will be a bad or a good ?
On new year’s eve the world begins the count down. As a collective, we all have the same hope and perspective of a fresh start on January 1st. There is a build-up of energy that accompanies the new year.
The energy is universal, and your thoughts on what a new year means to you can harness this energy. Think of it as riding the universal wave” , cheering for everyone to have a clean slate for the next 365 days.
The first law of thermodynamics, also known as the Law of Conservation of Energy says that cannot be created nor destroyed but transmuted. So if you were waiting for the right time to start something new or make changes and set intentions for your year, the NYE is the right time.
The mindset of most people in the world will have this same energy. So in a way, your momentum into the new year will be propelled by the universal energies of those around you. It gives your intentions an extra push!
A fresh start requires letting go of the past, regrets or expectations and moving towards your new goals. The past is a great reflecting tool for your growth, to guide you into the future, learning from experience. But holding onto the energy of the past, leaves your focus there… in the past.
New Year’s day has the largest momentum. So harness it, and ride the new year wave!
